During the holy month of Ramadan, our school embraces the spirit of unity, compassion, and reflection. Teachers educated students about the significance of Ramadan, its traditions, and the importance of fasting and charitable acts in Islam. This helps promote understanding and respect among students from diverse cultural backgrounds. A range of cultural activities and events have been conducted across school to celebrate Ramadan. During the 1st 2 weeks of Ramadan FS1 children were engaged in a carousel of activities such as making lanterns, and decorating the classroom doors, decorating milk bottle watering cans, making thank you cards, watering plants with the watering can, making thank you card for people who help in school, Eid Mubarak cards, bird feeders and last but not the least the Ramadan Charity Drive. Students across primary proactively and wholeheartedly participated in a donation drive. Through this initiative, they sought to develop a sense of community and empathy towards others, while also understanding the significance of helping those in need. Students welcomed the members of support staff with warmth and gratitude for all the work done throughout the year and handed over a bag full of goodies to them. They left the class with happiness and delight.
