UAE Commemoration Day was celebrated by FS1 children where they observed a minute of silence to pay their respect to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. Children were engaged in art & craft activities such as making stick soldiers and Commemoration Day online colouring pages, puzzles, decorating the UAE flag etc. to show respect to UAE’s soldiers and to honor those who have lost their loved ones while serving the country.

Eat a Red Apple Day is a delightful celebration dedicated to enjoying one of the world's most beloved fruits—the red apple. FS1 children relished the healthy fruit and also spoke about their health benefits. The FS1 corridor buzzed with the vibrant colors of the UAE flag as FS1 children celebrated the 52nd National Day dressed in its hues. They confidently spoke about the UAE flag and showcased their abilities through active participation in a quiz on UAE symbols. They enthusiastically engaged in various activities, demonstrating their creative and critical thinking skills. These activities included making a bracelet, creating symbols of the UAE, and solving a puzzle. To mark this special day, children had the UAE flag painted on their hands. FS1 children were introduced to the concept of coding. They engaged in simple coding games where they had to use different directions to make the object move to its final destination. Children were thrilled to embark in this new part of their learning as they were able to add steps, jumps, line to reach the end point. FS1 students thoroughly enjoyed their field trip to Al Barsha Pond Park as it was their first visit to the outdoor play areas in pleasant weather along with their friends and teachers. They observed birds, small animals, and flowers and relished their breakfast together in the open space and loved reading their favourite story book. Students also played on different kinds of equipments and learnt about nature. FS1 Sports Day kicked off with Dubai Police and school band energizing children with their rhythmic beats. It was a much-awaited day that not only showcased the boundless energy and enthusiasm of young children but also celebrated the physical, social, and emotional development. Students enjoyed fun-filled games along with their friends and enthralled the parents with their teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of being active. FS students enjoyed quiet time during well-being week reading their favourite books to their buddies in class. FS were introduced to the word tolerance through a story ‘The bridge’ and the song ‘the more we get together, the happier we will be!’ Students pondered over the situational questions to include all the friends in during the play irrespective of their gender or the language they speak. Students created paper bracelets and exchanged with their classmates. FS Children enjoyed the nature walk activity where they went outdoors for a walk and got in sync with nature. Questions like What can you see? What can you hear? were asked. They also pick up sticks and make a patterns in the mud. They went around looking for leaves and felt the texture. FS students were encouraged to engage in acts of kindness and to promote a culture of kindness in their daily lives. Through a story on clever touch, students learnt about importance of kindness and the different ways to be polite, respectful and considerate towards their family, friends and people around them. They were given an opportunity to creatively make a kindness chain and a flower pot wherein, they displayed the ways to be kind by drawing on the petals of the flower and later explaining about it in detail. |
