What an amazing day it was! Students of FS1 came dressed up as their favourite community helper such as firefighter, chef, police officer, army officer, pilot, traffic controller, maintenance staff, doctor, surgeon, lawyer and many more. They shared and discussed about the job responsibilities of their chosen profession. It was fascinating to hear their stories of how different people help them during the day in the school and in their community.
FS1 children celebrated ‘Lingo fest’ with great enthusiasm. They enjoyed greeting their friends and teachers in their native language and even introduced themselves in their mother tongue. Students were excited to see each other dressed in their cultural attires. They learnt the importance of learning and respecting languages spoken around the world.
Students were engrossed in exploring various game- based Stream activities such as looking for the foot prints using magnifying glasses, feeding the animals, matching animals with their young ones through coding. They creatively made bracelets, drew shadows of animals and sorted animals according to their skin patterns. New facts about animals were found through reading books and augmented reality app by experiencing 3D interactive animals. |
