As part of Happiness Day, the FS Team welcomed all children for the Pyjama Party, wherein small things makes us happy was the idea behind the songs and story-based activities. Celebrations began with a beautiful song and children enjoyed shaking their legs on it. Later, the children watched a story on the lines of being happy with whatever we have and giving everyone a chance to do their best and be unique. Children of FS1 frolicked on the tune of their favourite song and were excited to watch their teachers enacted the story The Rainbow Fish.

FS1 celebrated World Oral Health Day. The children viewed a video on simple tips on how they can keep their teeth, tongue and gums healthy. The children were engaged in a discussion about the food that helps in keeping the teeth strong. They also learnt how to brush properly and how many times to brush their teeth through a song.
FS celebrated Emirati Children’s day on 15th March,2021. The children came dressed up in the costumes with UAE flag colours. The children of danced to the tune of an Arabic song and prepared a craft of an Emirati boy and girl. The children FS1 played a game and made a special crown for themselves.
FS1 celebrated Nutrition and Hydration week. The children watched a song on healthy food and discussed about the healthy breakfast they had. The children were encouraged to make a record of their healthy food and water intake throughout the week by the putting a sticker for every time they ate a fruit or a vegetable in a day or drank a glass of water. Children shared their healthy food trackers during registration time and inspired their teachers and peers to make wise food choices.
FS1 children celebrated International Women’s Day. Children discussed what girls and boys are good at, then came up to a conclusion that girls and boys are equal. They watch a story of Amelia Earhart. Girls across FS1 shared what they want to be when they grow-up. Children made a card for their mums and the teacher to make them feel special.
