FS1 celebrated UAE National Reading Day. They shared their favourite story book with their peers. Children enjoyed listening to a story from a parent. They also watched a video of an author speaking about the importance of reading.

FS1 children enthusiastically celebrated International Mother Language Day by reciting poems in their mother tongue. They shared story books of their native language and thrilled to watch their peers greeting them in various languages.
FS1 children celebrated International Day of Women and Girls in Science. They were acquainted with the achievements made by the women in Science and Technology. Children watched a video shared by a doctor-parent about skincare. They also conduct an experiment with a balloon and were encouraged to think and predict how things work.
FS students were introduced to Internet Safety. They were encouraged to follow cyber rules and advised to use them under an adult’s supervision. They watched a video ‘How to use the Internet safely and discussed it in detail through a PowerPoint presentation.
FS Children celebrated Mental Health week. FS1 learnt about following a healthy routine like exercising, eating healthy food, taking proper rest and avoiding excessive screen time. They watched a story and were also encouraged to express their feelings about being with their family and friends.
The Makers day event had a plethora of activities which aims to foster creativity, innovation and develop critical thinking skills. FS Children celebrated Maker’s Day with great enthusiasm. FS1 children designed their own bracelets and watched a video shared by the parent demonstrating how an artwork can be created through simple steps. The FS2 students created their own dinosaur from recycled materials focusing on Design thinking, Design challenges, Development of design solutions and Group collaboration.
